Flight Sim Commander and FSACARS

Subtleties abound in the world of FSX, or at least, FSX/Vista. Tonight I finally figured out how to run FSX as "administrator", so I could register FSUIPC. Guess what, running it that way, neither Active Sky nor FS Commander would connect to FSX. Sure enough, when I unchecked the run as administrator option and restarted my machine, both connected no problem. It stands to reason (as Naresh has already pointed out) that FSUIPC is at the heart of all these difficulties, but I sure don't understand what is going on. Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of men?
