FSX Pre-release demo version for downlaod

I got it...pics are posted.
I get between 10 and 20 FPS...with things set to about mid-point.
My card has issues...it's GForce 5950 (256). Stutters, and doesn't seem to draw all textures.
The flight dynamics seem very good with the DHC-2 and the CRJ.

Interesting. I hope it will fit on a cd so I can put it on my home system. Make sure everyone reads the release notes.....there are some issues that may effect the way things displays....I know for a fact that there are those on Avsim and the such, bitching and wineing about things that are clearly noted.....oh well. Good screenies Jerry, looks to be a promising version of FS!

Dave, I too had that black window problem but it was on Baron. I noticed that you had 'Brakes' displayed all the time.

Yes i will have to look into this frame rates with sliders at med 17/25.

Dont know about thr brakes.

I got the 2Dpanel to work but no side views on the CRJ/Beaver only the baron.

I am wondering weather it is vidio card related.

Anybody found the 2D panels yet

I can get the 2D panel by selecting SHT+1, but the 3D panel stays in view with it.
Do you know how to get rid of the 3D?

I don't think my video card likes FSX...lots of stutters. If I turn things up so it looks better than FS9, then the FPS drop drastically.
It is fun to play with it however. The water taxi is a lot better!
