I have had so many problems with FSX locking up my system I gave up on it. I have a 2.2 ghz processor with a 512 video card and 1 gig RAM and it is horrible.
Good luck.

Cody,
Looks like you have the dreaded stuttering in FSX. All I can think of right now is to update your video driver and audio driver. After that defrag your hard drive.
Can you please provide the specs of your computer here?
Thanks.
Naresh

Done a defrag recently?
Do you have a lot of programs running in the background?
Is this a recent problem or has FSX always treated you this way?
The more info you can divuldge the better chance one of the "pros" here can help you. Computers can be a real pain.. I feel that pain daily.

edited by: SteveL, Feb 13, 2008 - 08:39 PM

Thanks Cody.
Steve lays out the one of the best questions? Do you have a lot of programs running in the background?
If so, try to disable those as well.
Do you know which video driver version you have?
