Ed I started the same way as you back when the Original Microsoft Flight Simulator came out. I've always had a love of flying but found I was too big to fit into a plane I can afford so this is the next best thing for me. I studied and studied everything to understand most of the features and functions of multiple planes. Your're learning the basics and that will carry you on to all aircraft. ENJOY
