Fellow Aviators,

I want to let you all know that there is a reason for my long absence. I am sorry but I have not had a lot of time to fly. I got a new job at the beginning of May. I am now a Sworn Police Officer for Wausau, WI. I decided to give up on my aviation career for now due to the economy and the constant ups and downs of flying(no pun intended). This is a much better career with great benefits and a pension. I hope everyone is still doing well and I may be scarce around here due to training and school but I am still here racking up hours.

Congrats EL! It's a thankless job (it may sometimes seem), but there are those of us out there who truly appretciate what you do. So I say thank you for your public service. Unlike Mike, if I'm ever in Wausau and am found to have parked my car in the produce aisle of the local grocery store, can I drop your name and get out of the ticket/jail time? :-D
