Latest Update

I had better luck today with my first A320 flight with the new update. You might want to remove the A32NX mod from your community folder and restart the simulator. Before I flew my flight today I removed the old Master A32NX Beta Mod from my community folder and replaced it with the latest stable release of the A32NX mod (version 5).

I flew my usual test run from KMSP-KDLH and found it behaved very well except for the continuing bug (I think) in entering the approach into the MCDU. The plane tries to turn back to the origin unless you immediately enter the direct-to waypoint for the approach using the Direct-To option. I think it's supposed to go directly to the first approach waypoint when the approach is activated.

Otherwise the flight seemed to go quite well, but the landing was a bit hard and long, but then again I was landing in real-world weather, and we're having a major snowstorm with blizzard conditions here in Minnesota at the moment.

That's too bad to hear. I'm still learning about MSFS through trial and error as most pilots (and developers) are. I've read about caching and deleting files that might help, but I never got to the point where I was comfortable deleting such things. I might suggest clearing your community folder and then starting a flight with default A320. I would do a circle around flight back to the orig airport. After that, add the newest stable A32NX mod to community folder and try another flight.

We'll have to see what results Hub Mgr. Eric thinks about the update and his suggestions.

I'm still having issues as well. Trying a flight right now after the update yesterday and I can't get the aircraft above FL310. It won't maintain altitude or speed. I just don't understand. The only addon I have is aircraft repaints.

I just shut down the sim. ATC was barking at me to expedite my climb but the aircraft just wouldn't do anything. I'm going to try deleting the aircraft repaints from my community folder and try again tomorrow.

As for Ron's problems, I have no idea as to what would be causing such issues. I have a pretty stout system and I have no problem running the sim at max settings. It's the programming that's getting me.
