SPAACARS freezing after pause of flight with windows 10

Pilots:

I've rewritten almost the entire calculation for the econ mod which required changes to SPAACARS to allow for more flight data to be transmitted to SPA.

So...Download the new SPAACARS and give it some test flights.

Due to problems estimating available seating for different planes, I've changed the passenger calculations to be based on payload ie cargo.

I've edited the calculations in the above post to show the updated calculations.


More testing now to see how it works.

That's a new issue for me Jim. It could very well be related to Win-10, as I've tried pausing my simulator for over an hour without a crash.

I'll try to figure out why that might be happening. Are you using FSX?

Did you set FSUIPC's to autosave - I read this can be problem in Windows 10.

Also make sure you're using the latest version of FSUIPC - I see a new version I wasn't even using - looks like the latest is 4.949h.

How long after pausing does it take for SPAACARS to crash?

Please make sure you're using the latest FSUIPC and if you still get crashes, please tell answer questions

- type of simulator in use (FSX?)
- how long after pausing sim does SPAACARS crash?
- What message does SPAACARS say when it crashes?


I might have to put windows 10 on my test system to try and debug this for you if the latest updates to FSUIPC and turning off FSUIPC auto save if you turned it on don't fix the problem, but first I want to image my drive so I can put things back again to Win-7 if I want to.
