Looks fantastic Paul!
You do good work. Happy to see the paints showing up for FSX.
Nice of you to get your #$%& out of bed so you could join us for the on-line flight at 3am NZ time. You are a better man than I.

Paul, that looks great! Let me ask you; what is the difference in FSX vs FS9 painting?
Looking forward to this baby!

Ken, the actual painting is the same in FS9 and FSX, but when it comes to repainting the default birds, the format is different. So when the painting is finished, I had to get another program to save the file as a 'dds' format. This format saves the textures upside down as well. No problem once you get the hang of it.
Only problem with the two that I have done now is that you will find on the CRJ that there are imperfections in the curved lines near the nose wheel. I can't fix that unfortunately as it is the way that MS have applied the master textures to the aircraft. Also I have had to use the 'alternate' engine textures due to the way MS did those as well. I have gone away from the colored bands on the tail as they were hard to get consistent between birds, and I feel that there is enough color on them anyway. Any feedback welcome though.
I will be taking the bird out tonight from KLAX to KDEN, and trying out FSC at the same time.
Naresh, I think I am going to prefer FSC over FS Nav. At least it does both FS9 and FSX, and I can see my AI traffic showing up on the map as well. A bonus when you are making an approach to see where other traffic is!!

Paul,
Gotcha. For some reason I thought FSX had a different finish....speaking of aircraft. I am working on the Dash 8 baggage cart issue...it's a hard one! After that I will continue to test and modify our birds so they work as much as possible with FSX.
thanks!
