<img src="tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-lachen.gif" alt="lachen">Very good Philippe! And thank you for not giving up on this. To answer your question in serious fashion, this was my first adventure pack without regard to seasons and time. Later adventures that are based on real-world event come with date-time considerations to match the real-world events. Otherwise... you can always assume that the ship was in its final death-throughs and the men figured it was best to swim away from the ship to avoid being pulled down with it, or struck by parts of the ship that might break off. Ok...I'm a bit of a shipwreck geek (and scuba diver) - which led to a number of my adventures - in particular the Titanic and the Truck Lagoon (Operation Hailstone). The Titanic is one of my favorites because I was mesmerized by the story even before my diving days ( I still have a model cheap model of the ship I put together).

Unfortunately, few of our current active pilots fly these adventures anymore, but I continue to develop them out of a passion for bringing historical, and current interests, to our flight sim pilots. I particularly love the real-life adventures related to books that I've read (and include as recommended reading).

Adventure 2 is one of those that I worked so hard on to create the wreckage and remains, and the Northern Lights effects described in the real-life adventure. The actual (intended flight) is very tedious and I probably would have omitted the latter part past Mt. Sanford, but the rest of it is great excitement, the actual flight segment where the Northern Lights come down on Mount Sanford and the later flights to discover the wreckage.

It might be interesting to have the few "Adventurers" weigh in on their favorite adventures. I'll give my favorite points - chronologically, and not in order of preference, and let other pilots weigh in on their favorites:

Adventure 2: The "Flight of Gold" adventure. I worked very hard with limited skills to make this adventure, and the book was very good.

Adventure 3: My favorites are the Titanic and the Hindenburg here. The Lusitania is good too, but was added to round out the 3-pack. Any serious shipwreck fan and Titanic fanatic would have to fly this. The Hindenburg is a great recreation, and if you have the Ezdok Camera addon , you can pause your plane near the airship and tour it. You can see detailed areas inside like the dining area, piano, and even a portrait of Hitler on the wall if you explore closely enough. Otherwise, it makes a nice photo-op for the iconic photo of Hindenburg flying over the New York skyline.

Adventure 5: I worked hard on AP52, the crash story of my childhood. I painstakingly recreated my neighborhood water tower and the crash scene. Also, the Swiss Alps adventure AP53. Just a wonderful story and my second effort at animating some characters - the first was the policeman by the water tower in AP52.

Adventure 6: Mainly for the great books linked to this that inspired me.

Additionally, both the Titanic and Hindenburg include audio. You can hear the brave orchestra playing their final piece "Near my God to Thee" if you stop your amphibious aircraft near the sinking stern. With the Hindenburg, if you taxi over to the hangar where the crowd is gathered, you and hear the famous broadcast of the disaster by newsman Herbert Morrison.

Adventure 7: Tirpitz was my first military mission, and the flack effects encountered on your 'bombing' run is great fun. I really enjoyed this as a multiplayer flight with Larry Chew.

Adventure 8: Doolittle's Raid was the best multiplayer flight of Adventure Packs to date. We had 5 pilots flying as the video shows (for part-2). This is a very fun adventure without too much addons.

Adventure 11: Jurassic Park adventure was one that I spent a lot of time on - mainly creating the entire park complex on a remote island. I really like how it turned out and it's a wonderful adventure to fly.

Adventure 12: The Thailand Cave Rescue. This took some effort to create the cave so that it could be "flown" rather than dove by scuba divers. Still, it came out rather well I thought, and the reference book is one you won't want to put down until you've finished!

Well, that's the highlights...but they're all fun to fly - and I so enjoyed bringing the stories to life in flight simulation. While I know few of our pilots fly these, I note that there are many downloads (more than we have pilots), so I'm happy to know that even non-SPA pilots might be enjoying them as well.

I hope that you and other pilots might enjoy flying them as much as I and the few other SPA 'adventurers' did.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

John,
Thanks for the info on your favorites. I just flew the Hindengurg adventure and I have to say that it's very well done.......and the radio broadcast when you get near the wreckage is a very nice touch!!!
