Yikes...I must have jumped the gun on that <img src="tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-haeh.gif" alt="haeh">. Pilots may still wish to check their fuel burn rates for larger aircraft in preparation for the next challenge, especially if using real world weather. This is what's taking me so long to get going on the Econ flights. I need to iron out my burn rates and calculations for head/tail wind speeds along the flight path. Note to pilots: In addition to your own test flights, and information gleaned from the Internet, there's a link on our Fleet page that shows average fuel burn rates for our flights here at SPA for many of the common types of aircraft. While some of these numbers might be off a bit due to some incorrectly entered data on manual pirep entries, the large number of flights made should bring the average burn rates close to what you should expect, and offers a good starting place for your testing.

I just completed a flight with 300 pax covering 4000 NM. My passeger revenue was $837.00. I wish i could fly that cheap. What up?

Bill,
Mike is still working on the cost/revenue structure for larger aircraft. The next weight class is expected to be 33,000-200,000 range, and even that is not ready yet according to Mike, so certainly your 777-200 at 545,000 is way over what even the weight-class currently under development is expected to allow for.
Progress continues on this and other projects when we have the time. Mike is not able to work on this for a couple weeks, and with summer finally arriving here in Minnesota, I've been busy enjoying the nice weather and engaging in outdoor activities that were not possible during the past 6 months.
