Pilot of the Month flight

Well well, I emailed Steve that I would not be able to do the flight honoring his 'Pilot of the Month' award.

He called me later that day, mad as hell :mg: , and told me how disappointed he was at me. I comforted him that it was nothing personal. I told him that I was busy flying my new Boeing 737 PIC and KFCM would not let me land that classic plane there. :boohoo:

With a sigh of relief, Steve asked me if I could come to his place for the evening. He said he bought something really sleek and said he had invited Steve Asp as well. He would like us to see his kick a$$ machine and perhaps do a few patterns on it. I asked him what he bought, but he said come on over and you will see for yourself. I thought he bought an AMD X2 64 5000+ machine!! :computer:

So, I got permission  from my wife :girl: to leave for the evening. I kissed her and the kids :remybussi: and rushed to Steve's house riding on my old moped. :woohoo:

Here's me starting my moped.

But my moped is equiped with GPS. That's my house folks.

I'm riding my moped in the streets of St. Paul Park.

Going north on HWY 61.

On HWY 494 bridge over Mississipi River.

Westbound on HWY 494

Passing by KMSP. I saw my brand new 737-400 PIC in the hanger there.

On HWY 62 westboud. Getting closer to Steve Lutgen's house.

I am excited to get my hands on Steve's new X2 64 bit machine.

I arrived at Steve's house.

Steve Asp was already there. He lives only a couple of blocks from Steve Lutgen's house unlike me who had to ride from across the ocean! I burged in his house and asked where the X2 baby was. Steve Lutgen said, it's in the lake.

Mr. Asp and I were confused. "Lake??, what on earth is your brand new computer doing in the lake?". I was furious. Mr. Lutgen said, "I never said it was a computer ok boys."

Well then, I was ready to head back home because I thought it was probably a set of BOSE amplied stereo speakers or a waterproof keyboard. Big DeaL!! I did not care. I wanted to go home and watch Disney channel with my kids.

'Come on, come on Naresh, I know you like speedy things', said Steve L.

'I like very speed computers!!', I interrupted him.

'Let's go to the lake and you will like it when you see it.' Then he hid my keys.

'I hope it is lot better than a chanhassen corn, or much more delicious than a leftover cabbage dish, or much fresher than stinky rotten cashews :kotz: ',

Steve Asp was rolling down on the floor with laughter. :rofl2:

So we walked down to the lake and there were a few good looking Chanhassen corn bred fish(women) at the beach. Nice view I thought. As we were walking by the lake, Steve Lutgen stopped by a sleek looking boat and asked me and Steve Asp, 'what we thought of it?'

Girls at the beach had already side tracked my mind  and I did not even stop to think that THE BOAT might be Steve's new machine! I just said, "it's ok".

Then Steve Asp jumped in the boat and then only I realized that was what Steve Lutgen wanted to show us. I was thrilled.

Boy, you should have seen the look in Steve Lutgen's face. He was a proud papa.

We did some "patterns" in the 'lake' on Steve's brand new sexy boat. It was a hoot. Wish we had some of our air hostess' on board wearing two piece bikinis.

I enjoyed the board ride a lot.

Thank you Steve Lutgen for what you do for SPA. You have been a good friend, good hub manager, a good mentor to all of us.

THANK YOU SIR.

A great story Naresh! A Moped Yeti....what will we have next here at SPA?
The two of you, Naresh & Steve L. deserve huge "at-a-boys" from all of us for holding this place together!
THANK YOU!!!

Now...get on your Moped and ride...ride to visit someone that will feed you something other than stale peanuts and old corn. His corn is like his jokes!

Good story...thanks for posting!
