Hi SPA wing nuts, :-D

This weekend, how about a turboprop or an RJ flight to KASE?

You can depart from any airport and arrive in KASE around 1630Z.

Eric and Chris, you guys are welcome to provide ATC for us. Pleeease!!! 8-)

The weather will be real world but the FS time will be set by the server. It will be near dark.

The approach procedures can be found here:
<a href="www.airnav.com/airport/Kase" target="_blank">Airnav KASE

LOC/DME-E approach is new in KASE and default FS9 does not have the new navaid for this approach. If you would like to practise this approach, you can get the navaid file for FS9 by clicking here:
<a href="library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=&Name...p&Author=&CatID=root" target="_blank">Link to AVSIM library

This file is for FS2004 only. Download the zip file and extract the AF2_CO03ASELOC.bgl file to FS9\addon scenery\scenery folder. I have not tested this yet.

If you need any assistance in installing the new navaid to FS9, please feel free to contact me or post a question here in this thread.

Also, if you have any questions regarding the approach procedures, please email Anthony Mckay or Jerry Allen with questions. They will be very happy to help you out. Or you can just post the questions here in the forum.

Happy simming ya' all. Looking forward to seeing you on Sat.

Again, make sure your arrival time in KASE is around 1630 Z. We will start our flight around 1500Z.

Naresh

Ken,

If you want to fly this time, I can be the ATC. I think you know what I mean. For some reason, Ken and I can not connect at the same time. I can however connect as ATC in FS2002.

Just let me know.

Chris, you can give clearance and departure to those who take off from within DEN Center Airspace.

Hey there Naresh. Lol, yea, I know exaclty what you mean. I'd love to fly this time, thank you for the offer! Just don't crash me ;-)

On the "argument" post.....I hope no one has any ill feelings towards anyone when it comes to ATC. We've got a couple of folks around here with real-world dealings when it comes to ATC; if they give advice, welcome it with a warm smile, they're just trying to help.

On the other side, unless the pilot feels an instrcution from ATC puts the lives of their passengers in grave danger, the instruction is to be followed...right?
