Hey everybody
First of all i recommend you to go to avsim.net and flightsim.com and dl the sceneries for Portugal, there are a few.I don´t have all, I have PPP version 3.0 but there is another called Project Lisbon Photoreal (i don´t have this one but ppl told me it was awesome) and there is also the spain portugal terrain mesh, it´s a little big but it makes the difference, and plenty plenty more to choose,it´s up to you now.
For the flight plan i think it would be a good idea to do a cross country flight since Portugal is a small country, only 900 Km's in Length, and begin the flight from LPBG (Bragança), i don´t know which airplane you usually use, but it´s a small runway , aproximately 4000 ft, but if you guys want to fly the jet and think the runway isn´t enough you can depart from LPPR (Porto), i did this course from LPBG because you would cross Covilha NDB and on your right you'll see the amazing "SERRA DA ESTRELA" or in English The Star Mountain which is 2000 mts high, and is the only place in Portugal where there is snow and it is also a ski resort where a lot of ppl go to have fun. then after you'll follow to LPPT (LISBON AIRPORT) to land on runway 21 and if you have the the sceneries installed you would see on your left on final approach the 10 mile Vasco da Gama Bridge, and under it the River Tejo which begins in Spain and crosses all Portugal through the Star mountain to meet the sea at Lisbon. Then you takeoff on the same runway heading to ESPICHEL VOR, in theway you can see the lisbon centre, the harbour, the football stadiums (Soccer is THE GAME here in Europe), and you'll see the other over the river Tejo Bridge , the 25 de Abril Bridge. At The ESP VOR, you can see a lighthouse at the ESPICHEL Cape, which is told that place to be a haunted place since many ppl commited suicide jumping from that cliff. Then we'll follow the western and southern coast shore of Portugal so you can admire the Fantastic beaches and about 30 miles from ESP VOR, on your left you'll be passing SINES city, this is the most important place to address and see on the flight ) WHY? because it´s my hometown and where i grew up and spent all my life, and since you guys came to see my country i want to show you where i live too. ). Landing at LPFR (Faro), which is part of a region of Portugal called the Algarve (like a mini state). Well i thought of ending the flight here but i put on the flightplan a last flight to Madeira Islands,if you´re flying the jet( it is a bit long flight but it is part of Portugal) the LPMA was known for it's shortrunway and there have been accidents and even planes failing to stop and crashing into the water. ( i don´t have the short runway anymore since it was remodeled and i dl the extended runway update from avsim.net now it is a 9000 ft )
runway ).
Well i think that's about it, you guys can change whatever you want and if you want to see more there's a lot to see. Hope you have a lot of fun, then i want to know how it went.
Cheers
Rod

Hi guys,
Sorry about the last minute notice. Looks like our friend Rodrigo won't be able to make it on Sat for this online flight in Portugal. So I have to cancel it and we will do something else.
Dave Raine, how about a nice tour of Wales mate?
Let me know, please.
