KFCA to KJAC Jackson Hole WY 318 miles...either would be nice I think...

Thanks Stege.
We can do any.
Let me settle the time guys. 1500UTC sounds good? That is 1000 CDT (MSP time). This way those at the west coast can sleep one hour more.
Looking forward to meeting online tomorrow.

I'll be there with bells on!! Stege...can you make a FS flightplan and a FSNav flight plan? Lets do the shorter route, in small prop jobs, i.e., Cessna type. IF you have an acft your going to fly, post it hear, that way if we want, we can download and install that bird so we can "see" it properly in FS. If it's 10am CDT, ith's 9am MST...sounds great!

I think I can make it, so here's what I suggest to fly. The Boeing Stearman. There's a nice version for fs2004 and another nice one for fs2002 as we will have people with both versions flying today..At Flightsim.com the file names are....davstea1.zip (fs2002)..and stear04.zip (fs2004)...or simply search file libraries with the word stearman and choose sort file list by downloads..They will be the 1st 2 that show up..If you use the fs2004 Stearman, even though
you have a radio, you have no navigation gauges. We will have to help each other find our way..
It's about 101 miles, following a lake and river, then to the city of Missoula, we turn south along
another river till we get to MT63 (Stevensville).....
The default cessna would be a decent substitute for the Stearman, although it may be a quicker plane..The Stearman will cruise around 80MPH,,,Not knots,,MPH
See ya there

I'm going reverse the flight plan which I now see I didn't even add one. Anyway it will be easier to fly the reverse course without nav aids and it makes for a challenging takeoff and
tricky to find the destination airport at Kalispell...(it's in a hole in the middle of town)
Takeoff will be from MT63 Stevensville Montana and destination will be MT54 in Kalispell Montana.
Distance about 101 miles as the crow flies. Both are grass strips.
