HELP!
Everytime I download real wx in FSX I get stutters that seem wx related:
The winds aloft keep changing rapidly & in large increments. It causes the airplane autopilot to compensate and thus causes a jerking flight all over the sky.
It's not the pilot his time.
Any ideas what I have set wrong or may be happening?
Thanks,

Jerry,
I had that happen once, for some reason FSX changed settings on me to use upper level winds and change with a moderate value. I'd make sure all your settings are right....also, are you using FSX's weather or something like Active sky?

Ken:
Thanks for your feedback.
I'm using only the FSX wx engine.
I will check the settings and change if necessary and try again.
Thanks

Thanks Yoland!
I think you hit the nail on the head.
There is a "WX File" for the last flight in the FSX folder in my docs.
I tried changing settings, and it would seem to work (sometimes) for awhile, and then goes nuts again.
I removed the last flt wx file from my docs and we'll see what happens now.
It that doesn't work then I will try your trick.
I think FSX is trying to read both files at the same time and having conflicts.
Will let you know.
Thanks guys,

Guys:
The only thing that seemed to work for me was:
1. Start FSX and clear all wx...then close FSX
2. Start FSX again and load only real wx with NO updates and NO winds aloft.
Any variation had it doing funny things.
There must be more than one file within FSX that conflicts with any new input...be it updates or winds. Even deleting the wx file in my docs for the last flt did not work.
If anybody can come up with a better solution please let me know.
Thanks....
