Jerry's computer is TU

Fellow Wing-Nuts:

I just wanted to let evryone know that my computer is dead. The funeral is tomorrow.

I'll be out of town the entire month of July, but hope to get something going after that.

I have only email. (wife's computer...no vid card)

KEEP THE DIRTY SIDE DOWN!

I also have a computer monitor that went KAPUT.

Send me your computer, Jerry, and I will fix it up for you. We can put Linux on it for free.

I've got a second computer that runs FS9 good, but not FSX...if your in the market.

My son is the lead computer guy out at Lockheed aircraft here. He is checking my system...slowly, as he works about 12 hours a day. If it proves to be TU, then he can get me anything I need...either new at wholesale or even used. And, Lockheed has got some pretty good kickass used stuff.

I'm not sure when I'll be back in the air, but I hope it's soon.

Sorry to hear that Jerry. I did not know what TU stood for. Doing a quick google search, revealed really nice stuff.

WOW Naresh...that $400 computer is a perfect buy! Just add vid card and go fly.

My GF-5950 turns out to not be usable anymore...not sure why. So we found an old TI-4400 and put it in my computer, and all is ok again...except of course the -4400 won't run FS9 or FSX. But it proves it is indeed my vid card that is kaput.(TU)

I'm in talks now with XFX about replacing it. The warranty runs out on Jun 02...only a week to go.
