I haven't tested any other aircraft yet but after reading the thread you posted, I don't feel the need to. Apparently everything but the 787 is broken.

The only thing I can attest to is that the default A320neo is big time busted. I've been hesitant to install any third party addons because of issues they may cause to the sim (from documented instances in the MSFS forum), but I'll probably have to give the A320NX mod a try. How easy is it to uninstall the A320NX mod after you install it?

Very easy, just remove the A320NX folder from the community folder.  I've had no problems with this on my sim anyway.  I'm testing the developer version now - still has climb issues I think.  Will check the landing shortly.

Ok...so I just had a disappointing flight to KORD.  Granted this was started off another flight from KMSP to KDLH, so I manually added the flight plan in the MCDU and went from KDLH to KORD.  First off, the copilot handling of radios no longer worked forcing me to stay on the flight deck the entire flight.  Also the arrival in KORD was bad - never vectoring me to a lower altitude for landing.  I finally had to go around and land land without ATC help.  Fortunately it was VFR conditions.

The plane landed ok - no floating off runway as occurs with the default version of A320.  I was testing the Development version.  I didn't like the way the Nav screen failed to update unless you adjusted the distance.  This is not a problem on the stable verson of the A320NX module so I recommend that over the Development version at this point.  Both versions allow climb to FL390, but it takes almost the entire flight from KMSP to KORD to get to that altitude.

Still, the stable version of the A320NX mod is likely a better choice over the default at this point, as I don't see a patch for the default coming any time soon.
