MSFS February 16, 2021 Update

Looks like ASOBO has messed up the A320 for me AGAIN.  No matter what I try, I can't climb above FL260.  I checked and the thrust has been scaled back again.  If anyone is having this particular issue, my solution is posted here:

I was in the middle of an ECON flight when I found this out and I just don't have the patience to start it over again.  It didn't make sense to be at 100% throttle and only be able to cruise at FL260, so I just shut it down.

Edited to add that the flaps were also screwy on takeoff.  I set normal flap settings that I always use and the aircraft lifted off of the runway with no input on the controls at about 120 knots.  Anybody else seeing these problems?

Yikes,  I'm not sure I've tried the A320 yet since the update.  I flew the freeware ATR 72-600 without issue since the update.  I'll take it for a quick spin and let you know.  I'm using the A320NX mod however.

Well I flew the A320 and it took most of the flight to get to FL390.  Last 10000 at about 1000fpm but it climbed to 390 almost fully loaded with a tailwind.

As for the takeoff I generally hold the nose down until VR, so not sure if there's a problem there.  Anyway, it's flyable with the A320NX mod.

I have noticed the the increased stopping rate with the TBM on our group flight the other night and the Iceland Tour flight.  I didn't immediately attribute this to the latest update - but now it makes sense.  No doubt the A320 also has issues, I just didn't notice it on the takeoff because I generally hold the nose down until VR.

The A320 with the freeware mod is flyable.  The TBM might be trouble on shorter runways it should be able to handle.

I'm told that the A320NX Development Build corrects this latest problem created with the new update regarding floating above runway during landing for the A320.  I recommend this addon since it doesn't appear that a quick fix will be coming soon from Asobo.
