A320 rocks back and forth on autopilot after latest update was created by jer029
Ok, so I just finished the 7gig update and the A320 is almost unflyable on autopilot. The plane rocks so badly I get seasick just looking at the screen. At least it hasn't tripped the passenger screams and related penalty yet. I tried the free addon mod, but the latest update also makes the main flight screen and MCDU fail to operate. More broken than fixed on this latest update.

So there's quite a bit of chatter about this rolling issue when AP is used, and apparently can affect multiple aircraft models. I did find that the A320 was flyable at FL310, but much above that it rolled like a sailboat on a stormy sea. I'd get seasick if I had to keep looking out the window for this sim flight. Fortunately be reducing the altitude it becomes stable enough to fly, but it's definitely a bug that was introduced or aggravated with this lasted update.

I'll try a flight tomorrow with the Carenado Mooney and see if it works in FS2020.

I'm not having this problem so far John. I'm flying from Houston to Montego Bay this morning and its been smooth sailing the entire way. I updated to the latest version on Thursday. I did see the complaints about this on the flight simulator forum and even saw some user posted video of the rocking back and forth. One user turned off the autopilot and turned it right back on and the problem corrected itself.

I just completed a flight in FS2020 with the Carenado Mooney. I had no wing rocking in climb or cruise, but during descent the wing rocking started. In a ILS approach it stopped. This airplane was not a FS2020 plane, but a third party add-on.

I had no problem with the KingAir 350 either on today's flight. Eric, what were your weather settings. Try flying the A320 with wind, perhaps a crosswind and try flying at FL390 or there abouts.
