FSX Multiplayer

Ok all you wiz kids out there who have got FSX how does one connect
the mutiplayer to our flight server or cant you,.

Do we have to go through Game Spy.

Naresh sent me to this link for the software needed to run FSX in Multiplayer mode without having to use Gamespy:

I've yet to install the stuff yet, but will over the weekend. I want to see if you can use the Tower position in this mode.....sorces tell me no; but I just have to try for myself.

Ok, I've downloaded both peices of software, FSHost and FSHostClient. FSHost gave me the most greif; but finally got it to work. Make sure you follow the instructions for FSHostClient....heres what I did.

Load up fshost, then Client; then FSX. Once sitting at the gate shutdown, I disabeled the AI as instructed, then joined the session. IM IN! As of now, the "Tower" isn't an aircraft selection, so you can't use it. I'm sure once the SDK's are ALL released, someone will figure out a way!

For now, Im gonna log off, and get our EMB installed, then try again and do a flight on the server.

NO, you don't need FSHost!!! Our server is FSHOST. You only need the client version. I have already had that server headache for YOU ALL . You guys don't need to go through that again.
