Well Bob, I hope Naresh and I can keep everybody apart. There will be a little learning curve for everyone...the pilots and controllers. It will be FUN however, and all the guys that arn't sure how to do things...anything...this is a good chance to ask questions and get your feet wet.
I know we'll all have a good time!

So, it's now KMCI (Kansas City) to KMDW (Midway) now. So we can help all the new guys. But, I think any jet will work...they are all about the same speed.

Anyway, guys Jerry and I will try to do our best. Like Jerry said, this is a learning curve for everyone, there is no need to be embarassed. I am pretty sure, once I get overwhelmed by the amount of attention I need to commit, I will be nervous and make mistakes. Probably, I will have you guys on a hold for a long period of time until I calm down. :lolsign:

So, please come and join all of us this Sat for the fly-in. Jerry and I will provide ATC, and heck it will be more fun than VATSIM. I guarantee you that.

I like Bob's idea about first meeting at KMCI and resolve the connection problems if any. We will also assist you with how to file your flight plans via the chat box and how to change the channel in voice server when you are handed over to a different controller.

We may even control MCI tower and departure.

To file your flight plan, enter the DEPT and DEST airports in the chat box first as below:
+fp IFR, KMCI, KMDW, 30,000

Then you need to file your route by entering:
+ fr KMCI ROYAL3 JTHRO IRK MOTIF3 KMDW

Notice +fp and +fr: (FLIGHT PLAN and FLIGHT ROUTE).

The controllers, Jerry and I, will receive those information and they will assist us on vectoring you to your next waypoint.

When Jerry (Center) hands you off to me (Tower), we would like you to switch the channel (room) to 'Tower' in the Team speak voice server, and vice versa for other way around. This will help reduce the clutter in the voice channel.

Please take a look at the Voice Server block in the bottom left side of the SPA website. You will see Default, Midway Tower, and Chicago Center. This is just a test, but I think you will get the idea.

I suggest you open FS9 in Windows mode, so you can easily switch between FS9 and Team Speak client software.

It will be fun.
