Here is a link for sectional charts of the area...if you want them. This is mountain country, so it may be a good idea to look this over. It also displays the Victor airways.

Make sure you print out the approach chart mentioned above and study it before the flight.
This will be fun. I may fly the Connie as well, since that's what Alfred is using...we'll see.

Chris:>
You are more than welcome to be ATC if you like. They didn't have radar in those days....do you know how to use non-radar seperation?
If not, then I can help if you like...I can even be the app controller instead of fly if you wish, and you can be the tower controller.
It is up to you...whatever makes you happy is OK with me.
BTW> I posted Low Enroute charts in MISC for betweem PDX and MFR. They are not current, but all I had. They will get everyone there.
Let me know........

Chris:> You can use radar too if you wish...doesn't really matter.
Non-radar seperation is totally dependent on the pilot doing exactly as he is told and doing it correctly.
You would seperate the departures out of KPDX on diff airways and diff altitudes, and then see how the arrival sequence was for KMFR. Put them on diff arrival routes, or holding patterns. It tlaks a lot of talking and reports from the pilots to determine where they are...how fast they are going etc.
I see the server is back up again...GOOD!

GREAT!!!
Looking forward to all the participation!
I just flew the Martin 404 from Medford to Bend, OR with min wx, and I love the Martin...in Eastern Airline livery...so I'm back to that one tomorrow. It's a good short trip airplane.
KEN>>> I've flown that B-247, it is very nice. It is considered to be the first modern airliner. I actually got a ride in the co-pilot seat of one of those...a long time ago.
See everybody at 1100 mytime (1000 MSP time) tomorrow.
