Pilots,

Not sure how many of you have tried Simbrief for flight planning, but I have moved from the expensive real-world Foreflight to Simbrief for my flight planning.  This addon is really great for those who want to fly our Econ Mod to help figure correct fuel planning for the flight (see my Econ-Mod Quick-Start video on the "Econ-2018 Instructions" paged linked to our Main Menu where I cover the use of Simbrief).

I believe that Simbrief is still freeware, but you need a paid account for the most updated Navigraph charts.  For those who already use Navigraph charts for aircraft FMC STAR's and SID's, the Simbrief is certainly a valuable tool for you.

I do miss the VFR charts that Foreflight had, but it sounds like they're working on providing those in the near future.

Happy flying,

John

I agree. My Flight Sim Commander (FSC), which I have used for years for flight planning, has been acting up, so I downloaded Simbrief and gave it a try. It doesn't do a lot FSC does, but it does a lot FSC doesn't.
