Just loaded two of the OZx Sceneries and both are really great. The Grand Canyon scenery is outstanding, and Death Valley really looks like a desert. They are only in summer season and don't change according to season, however, they load in addon scenery so you can turn off and on as you see fit. They have a lot of sceneries for Australia if you enjoy flying there. Here's the link:

Well Bill, sort of indirectly in that I've been using the MIsty Moorings stuff that is also free and it includes the OZx libraries. Otherwise, a number of us have all the Orbx/FTX stuff and that doesn't always play well with other scenery addons. I think I'll stick with the Orbx/FTX and the Misty Stuff.
Steve and Larry might have a better idea of how these things work together as they've done quite a bit of flying the Misty stuff with the Orbx/FTX stuff.
Additionally, Yoland has created Bush Flights that include the Misty Mooring Scenery so you can fly Misty Adventures and still log them here at SPA.

Bill,
I looked into the Ozx scenery after seeing Steve's Grand Canyon pics - and due to problems I've been having with FTX Open LC North America not working well with my Vector and Global FTX. Not sure what the problem is there, but others have posted on the FTX support site with the same problem at Grand Canyon area (among other areas). The Ozx Grand Canyon is a huge improvement (and pretty much covers up the chaotic scenery changing issue I've been having in the area except for on the edges where I'm guessing there's gaps between the Ozx Grand Canyon and KGCN airport that allows the Open LC to 'shine through'). The 'chaotic scenery' issue basically is a flickering grid work of continually changing scenery patterns that seem to never settle on a particular scenery - jumping from snow covered farm fields, to water, to brown canyon texture. It seems related to my Open LC, as it goes away after I disable those files in my scenery library. This issue only appears in the Grand Canyon area that I've noticed, but I've also noticed some trees on runways at an airport in Alaska, and some strange water areas that are unnaturally are halfway up a hill. Still, I like other features of Open LC (particularly the night lighting), so I can live with a few airports with trees in the wrong place now that the Grand Canyon issue is 'covered up' with another scenery package, and will keep Open LC running for a while longer. I've also adjusted the library settings according to what they show at FTX and it doesn't correct the problem. I had no other scenery installs in the area of Grand Canyon, so it must be something with their scenery and not a 3rd party software conflict.

I had the same problem with the Orbx sceneries after converting to FTX central 3. I had to reload all of my orbx sceneries to fix the problem. Have you run the troubleshooter program?
Look in your main FSX folder, there will be an ORBX folder, and inside that folder should be the Troubleshooter.
Here's a link I started that resolved my issue. Maybe it will help you.

I believe I traced the problem to a bad file in the download of open LC NA. I deleted all the files for Open LC NA after 'uninstalling' it through FTX Central. Note - uninstalling it through FTX Central alone will not fix the problems with corrupted files. It just inactivates current files saved on your system and then reactivates them when you re-select the install button. You have to manually go to the folder and delete the actual files. Then choose "install" through FTX Central to get a fresh set of downloaded files.
I still have trees on the runway at PAML however. No trees there for you Steve?
