Hi gents,
I had a blast on the fixed based simulator in HK. I did a 90 mins session. I took off from Macau, did a SEIRRA4A approach to VHHH, all flown from FMC. I did a touch and go on VHHH 7R (7R is usually used for take offs only), and flew around the coast to Sek Kong Military Airstrip. This airstrip is located in the area where I grew up inside the military barracks. The runway is very short (usually choppers land there), so I just did a touch and go literally.
Then I climbed up towards the new international airport and did a low fly by under the big bridge. After that, another low fly-by in the harbor doing a sighseeing and then I did the full proper infamous IGS 13 approach.
The camcorder only recorded 60 mins of my flight due to the file size limitation of FAT file format. It stopped when my file reached 4GB. I did not pay much attention to it and I seemed to forget about it even though I had recorded in a lower quality. I only have the video footage right before I dived for flyby under the bridge. :-x
Anyway, I wish to share these with you. I have to tell you it is completely different than sitting in front of a big LCD monitor and a keyboard or yoke and throttle quadrant for that matter. It is as real as it gets.

I watched all 6 parts Naresh. You did a great job!
Nice smooth touch with that 737 and good touchdowns!
I'd say get certified and fly for the real airlines.
Thanks for sharing...good stuff!

Thanks guys.
Wish I had more time there. I tried to schedule another 60 mins, but they were all packed up for the next few days.
Wish we had similar to that here in the states.

haha, what's wrong with my Hawaiian shirt??
Well, I gotta admit that I was little overwhelmed, on the top of that, jet lag, not enough sleep, tired etc.
I can see some minor obvious mistakes while watching those again, but so what?
1: hand not on the throttle quadrant when rolling for take off.
2: did not hear FO's Vr (rotate) calls.
I wish we had those here in America.
