Computer crashed..need suggestions

I would get a larger screen, at least a 19" but a 26" HD would be better. The screen must be able to handle the highest resolution that your video card will display.

Also, the 64 bit version of windows means that you will have to find hardware drivers and software that are designed for 64 bits. The nice thing about 64 bits is that you can use more than 4Gb of memory.

A second hard drive would be inexpensive. I have an external hard drive that I plug into a USB 2.0 port and use it for backing up my stuff.

All in all, I think you should have a system that can do a reasonable job with FSX.

Mind shareing where you got it and for how much? U can PM me if you'd like. I also am in the market for a laptop that will run FS9/FSX (maybe).

I got it at Best Buy for $1099.99. I know it went up to $1249.99 but the prices change every Sunday so keep an eye on it. It is the HP dv5-1017nr.
