Good Morning Everyone,

Please join me in congratulating Robert Reedy on his promotion to Fleet Captain! Robert passed the 500 hour mark sometime this last week (I know, I'm sorry I didn't catch it earlier) and now has “run of the house”. Robert can now fly any passenger, cargo, charter, training, etc flight in any aircraft he wishes. This is quite an amazing feat, as Robert has only been with SPA for less than three months! :-O

I don't really know what to say (as usual), other than I'm glad you're enjoying yourself here! If you want me to assign you some flights, or if you can think of some destinations that aren't currently on our MIA schedule and you would like them added, please let me know.

Congrats again on the amazing accomplishment!

Eric M. Eder, SPA118

Thanks Eric and I'm definitely enjoying myself.

No need to assign flights unless you just want to. I'm simply going down the Miami list of flights in various categories in between the Special Ops flights. I'll keep any additions in mind as I wander around. :-)

edited by: RoBear, Oct 09, 2011 - 10:16 PM

Way to go RoBear. We Fleet Captains know what a great experience it is to have acquired a better understanding of commercial aviation and having to meet schedules in all kinds of weather. Now would be a good time to get the real deal and do some flying in the real world. 8-)

It's just a small thing called $$$$$. ;-) It get's expensive when one has to hire all the support staff just to get oneself up in the cockpit - and escalates quickly from there. :-D

Think I'll just enjoy the virtual world and pretend I'm Snoopy on his Doghouse and let it go at that. lol

Congratulations Robert. I have been drafting you for some time on the way to Fleet Captain. You did it in 3 months...I've been chasing the gold shoulder tabs for a year. Best of luck.

Thanks Ned. I'm retired and have no life except subbing an hour or so in the morning and afternoon and a daily outing after school with my grandkid. :-D

Makes it much easier/quicker that way. 8-)

edited by: RoBear, Oct 23, 2011 - 08:45 PM
