Hello Mike, Eric and Oswald! Thanks very much for the warm welcome. First I hope I will be able to understand all what I have to do for my first flight. We will see ... Sometimes the language is a problem: normally I speak german. Then I fly with FlightGear, so Oswald and I are the only ones? Right? Could be I need your help soon
Looking forward, Bernie

Welcome to SPA Bernhard, I hope you have a very enjoyable time with us here. I'd be glad to help if you have language problems. In fact as with all questions, all you have to do is ask.

Hallo Bernie, ich helfe gerne, wenn Du Fragen hast. <img src="tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-smile.gif" alt="smile">
Don't want to switch the forum to German, though ... I must say, I love to be here with FlightGear, and no, we are not the only ones. There is no problem at all with the usual special operations or scheduled flights, you may have to modify your personal aircraft fleet while working your "way up" in the ranks.
From my point of view, currently there are two major challenges to FlightGear pilots:
Integration into multiplayer flights, we are on a good way to that with swift (from FG 2020.x on).
And (see this week's post) keeping our FG dedication straight in the current enthusiasm for the scenery of FS2020 in the forum ... <img src="tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif" alt="wink">
Have fun, happy flying, don't hesitate to ask if you need ideas.
