Brian Rush Promoted to Fleet Captain

You guys gotta help me out here. One of the jobs of a Hub manager is to promote pilots when they reach the cumulative hours required for the next rank. That requires that the Hub Manager PAY ATTENTION. Well, 71.1 hours ago, Brian Rush passed the magic 500 hour mark for promotion to the exalted rank of Fleet Captain. Where was his Hub Manager? Out to lunch. So, this is a belated announcement that Brian has joined the elite of our airline as a Fleet Captain, with all the rights and privledges pertaining thereto, which include ignoring his Hub manager.

Since Brian has been working on our schedules for the new Miami Hub, he has been flying up a storm. In fact, my calculations indicate that Brian actually passed the 500 hour mark sometime on July 1st, a scant two weeks ago; that's how much he's been flying.

So, please join me in thanking Brian for all of the hard work he has been doing and congratulating him on his well-earned, tho belatedly acknowledged, promotion.
