Larry (Airhogg) and John's (jer029) next Multiplayer Flight



This flight takes us to Chile where we’ll get a taste of everything from volcanic mountain to over-the-ocean flying for landing at various points on the mainland and Greater Island of Chiloé. This might be a good flight for nervous bush fliers worried about small, difficult runways. The smallest runway here is just under 3000 ft. – our departure airport. They just get bigger after that, so all should be easy flying (although I haven’t tried this area personally – and weather can always be a factor if you want it to be).

Flight time is 2000 Zulu making it 1500 for those of us in Central time like I am, an early flight (0600) for those ‘down under’ in Australia, and a really late flight for Yoland in Switzerland (2200). Just set your time at sim time at 1200 and we should all be enjoying sunshine – if our real-world weather settings permit.

Yikes Yoland -- You're right! I just gave the first leg a try and I had about 5 go-arounds before I could even attempt a landing - but then again, I'm trying to land the Twin Otter there.

The Beaver would make landing easier - but it was sure nice having the powerful Twin Otter to get over those mountains after departure.

Nice pictures of the area too Yoland - inspired me to jump on the sim and try that first leg. Are you using something there besides basic P3D scenery?

It would be great to have you join us on a flight, but I'd put sailing as the priority also.
