What 757 package would you recommend?

Eric,

I have both the PMDG 737NG and the Level D 767. I agree that the PMDG 737 is a great bird, but I would say that the Level D767 is even better. More complex, but better. It has a very complete (printed) manual in a small three ring binder (available at extra cost, if I remember correctly) which is more complete than the PMDG manual AND you can get an instructional DVD on the susbsystems and the standard and emergency procedures that illustrates how to do a lot of stuff I never understood before. I haven't found anything that's its equal. P.S. The Level D is available for both FS9 and FSX, the PMDG isn't available for FSX yet.

This is an awesome looking simulation. It is a bit pricey at $55, but may be worth it if you are really serious about your hobby like I am.

I was wondering if anyone has been able to make the team flights work in FSX. What I mean is having a pilot and copilot in the same simulated cockpit. There are so many complex systems in this bird, that it might be a good idea to take a training flight with someone who already knows how it all works.

Bob,

I have shared cockpit with Jerry and Ken in the past. It is something like magic. It works only in FSX.

For FS9, there is this site:
<a href="www.gates.to/" target="_blank">www.gates.to/

On one page they say it is free for 4 hours, and then you need registration after that. Not sure what that meant, every first four hours or only four hours. Anyway, you have an option there.

Thanks.

I am going to get this Level-D aircraft as soon as I have FSX up and running on a new PC. I am still looking for the best computer for the money. My current PC is now an antique.

Bob:

Very few airplanes actually "fly" well in MSFS, but the LVD B767 is one that handles very well...hand flying or on autopilot. You will enjoy it, especially being a real pilot.

OK! I finally did it! I got the LevelD 767 and Jerry knows his stuff! It is great. I would say equal to the pmdg. They are the two top sim add-on makers as far as I am concerned. Thanks for all the help boys. YOu all are a wealth of knowledge.....minus steve Asp......lol
