Denver VATSIM invitation

Question...VATSIM problem.

I logged on SB3 at KMCI to fly to KDEN.
The server kicked me off once saying:> "Protocol Error: connection timed out".(after 10 min).

I signed back on.....
Then I noticed that the wind within FS was showing 355@31 and the wind with VATSIM was 140@11G15.
Using rwy 19.

Anybody know why?????

I haven't tried to use VATSIM lately.

Well, you weren't the only one with a frustrating night on VATSIM. But at least you got there in the end

The problems started the minute i asked for clearence. i was quite late starting so like you i decided KSLC to KDEN would be a nice short flight! I asked for clearence from SLC APP but they couldn't here a word i was saying, my mic was very bad for some reason...we decided to use text instead, not the end of the world but a little irritating. i got going anyay after sitting at the gate for a good half hour...however once i got going things were grand, leveled off at FL350, contacted denver centre and was on my way!!

My route took me via the TOMSN4 arrival so about 15 miles after the HAYDEN VOR i was told to descend at my descretion and cross TOMSN at FL190. After another few minutes i start my descent. Everything seems to be fine...

...but then i get disconnected...Its not a server problem...the whole internet on my computer is down...i cant even connect to internet explorer...i try reconnecting numerous times...no luck...i decided to proceed to TOMSN at FL190 and enter a holding pattern in case i can get back on...but no such luck...i tried sll sorts of network diagnostics that internet explorer were offering me but none of them worked...in the end i gave up...somewhat dissapointed...It was obviously just a problem with our Broadband service cos its back now...better luck next time ay??
