Updating to FS9.1

I got home today and the new computer is up and running...it runs great out of the box..will post pics at some stage!!!

However, i tried to install the update to fs9.1but i got a message asyin "callback OD" when i started it up...then it closed down when i hit OK!!! i did a search on google and all the forums that are talkin about it seemed to be in a foreign language!!

Any ideas would be welcome!!! i dont want to put any other add-ons on till that is installed!!

Ya...i had already tried a different file, and it made no difference what so ever?? What is a CRC error??

Are you running Vista? I can't help with that.

Try the following:

1. Get the update file from Microsoft support. Do a search on their support page.
2. Start FS9 with Disk 4.
3. Reinstall FS9 over the old.
4. Good luck. I'm out of ideas. :confused:

What how do you re-install fs9...does it have to be uninstalled theen re-installed??

the wierd thing about this is that fs is telling me that it's version 9.1??? is it possible that it would have been automatiacally installed???

Don't remove FS9 first. Just run the FS9 install again. It won't hurt, and may do some good. I am thinking that this would fix the damaged software object that causes your error.
