Naresh,
Yea, I'm pretty pleased with it; I wasn't sure if a laptop would really support FSX. FSX, on the other hand, is something of a mixed bag. I like some aspects (native scenery and aircraft), but it is certainly a resource hog and the unavailability of add-ons (esp. FSNavigator) is something of a pain.

My SP1 installed fine. I installed FSUIPC and oh boy what a mess. First, it wanted me to select Com1 or Com3. I tried them both and no success. I am assuming it wants to know where my joystick is. I have a USB joystick. If I selected "none" the whole screen would turn white and lock FSX up. Nevertheless, I took off the dll for FSUIPC.
It doesn't end there. FS9 is now screwed up. It has to do with the util.dll and "real weather". I can't get into a flight and all the message boards about util.dll have to do with FSUIPC. So I have asked Naresh to send me the util.dll file he has. Hopefully I can get this all working. Until then, I am out of Commission.
