Dave,
Yes, I have seen your cargo AI planes.
They sure looked good.
If I have a computer worth US $ 10 Grand, I think I will do as you have suggested too.
Hope you are well.

I use FS LiveTraffic which downloads currently filed flight plans and provides all the AI aircraft neccessary to populate FS9 with the actual current traffic. It's great, but it has two major drawbacks: (1) It's quite expensive. It's a six month subscription service that ends up costing about $120/yr. and (2) There is so much traffic that it can be difficult to get a gate or take-off slot at major airports during popular times, unless you set the traffic slider down aways. However, it comes with a "toolbox" that allows you to see a list of current flights, altitudes, airspeeds, etc. and a map that shows the location and direction of all aircraft near your location. I think it integrates pretty well with Radar Contact ATC, but I've never really tested that. One neat feature of the map is that you can select aircraft near you, for example on a taxi way or in a gate and "delete" them. That makes it easy to get my favorite parking place at gate B37 at Dulles.
