From ZDNet:
One of the more common questions I get from friends and readers is "what kind of PC should I get". My personal preference has always been to build my own PC. If building a PC is not your cup of tea, I still recommend a custom PC where you select the parts and pay someone a small fee to assemble it because you still get a much better PC for your money. If you don't know what parts to select, that's where this article comes in handy where I tell you what parts to pick and why I picked them. Note that I didn't include the monitor, keyboard, and mouse in the configurations because those are very personalized items but I will cover it at the end of the article.
