Earhart (GOSS-GOOY)

This flight was short, but challenging. I arrived to find IFR conditions with 4800m visibility due to widespread dust. Ok...that's a new one for me. Anyway - I was preparing to work my way round the VOR to pick up the ILS when I observed the VASI lights just off shore on a straight in approach. This I was too close and too high, so swung back out over the water and came back in again - making a reasonable landing. After a quick turnaround, I headed back out into the dust for the next - and longer leg of this journey as I begin to fly inland, across Africa.
