Arrived in New Orleans - Earhart Flight Leg 3

So...after a longer than necessary flight, I finally landed here at Callender Field in New Orleans. Due to...well, let's call it an electrical problem, my landing gear came down shortly after takeoff and I didn't notice this until almost halfway through the flight. Yikes! Anyway, things picked up a bit once that was corrected, but it added an hour plus change to my total flight time. Fortunately the weather was clear the entire route, but somewhat hazy as I approached my destination. On top of that dusk was setting in due to a late start out of Tucson. Again, I set a direct heading while checking for various VORs along the route to ensure I was still on track.

Tomorrow on to Miami, and my last stay in the US for quite some time. Tomorrow's flight should be a breeze - giving me plenty of time to party in Miami before I leave the mainland.
