Apparently there was not enough interest in it, hopefully not for technical reasons. The Arabs were some of their best customers for conversion to flying palaces.
I think we are in the era of supersonic aircraft now. There are designs for shuttle rockets that could get you to the other side of this planet in short order. What a blast.
