Bucking up of Twin Otter when setting altitude in auto pilot

I'm frustrated with the Twin Otter (Aerosoft) as I can seldom get the altitude set in auto pilot without the plane lurching upwards and giving me a G-Force penalty (about $800 on my last Econ flight). The choice is to continually trim it out manually or just accept the penalty as I did on today's flight. I did find a forum post regarding an issue that a fix was being released for it, but this was back in 2013, and one would think the issue would be corrected by now. Perhaps I need to compare my version number with what's available.
Anyone else noticing this behavior with the Aerosoft Twin Otter DHC-6 300?

Is that the aerosoft extended one....I usually set the trim to climb to altitude and then hit alt button...some aircraft I have to play with the elevator controls to get the a/p to stop from bucking up or down when I release the a/p
