Photo Gallery and Upcoming Multi-player Flight

As I sip my Chardonnay I figured the Pilot's Pub is the best place for this latest post. I made some changes in the Latest Images section for the photo gallery so that it now shows the optional description you can add to your photos. After uploading your photos, just click on your photo and at the top hover over the tab "photo options" and select "edit photo". There you can enter a description of the photo and it will show on the image and latest image displays.

I'm sure most pilots have noticed the link to the 2-minute promotional video I've posted regarding the upcoming Adventure Pack 9 flight (date yet to be determined). This video was made using P3dv4 but scenery and addons were tested and will work with FSX too. The scenery, aircraft, and arrestor/catapult addons are freeware things for FSX/P3d either downloadable here at SPA or at the links provided.

It has come to my attention that some pilots are intimidated by the various scenery installs, etc. and shy away from such things.

I feel sorry for them because they're missing out on so much fun, so I'm planning on adding a couple of instructional videos on "How to" install these sceneries for the Adventure Packs. I will use this latest Adventure Pack 9 for the example because it covers all the possible install situations that I can possibly envision we might encounter on both past and future Adventures. Trust me - it's relatively easy, and gets easier after the first time .

Lastly, some pilots might think that their flying skills are not at a 'participation level'. Perish that thought! Even a beginner is welcome to fly along with us. Like I've always said - "I've never had a crash I couldn't walk away from - or reset my simulator from .

My only request is that pilots wishing to join the flight prepare first by downloading, installing and testing out the scenery and addons. That alone will be fun, and ensure that things are working for you when it's time for the Multi-player flight.

Adventure On...

John:
nice job on the multi-player flight promotional video. l agree with John about all the scenery files do work in FSX and P3Dv4. l just purchase and installed P3Dv4, and all the required scenery to make the flight more realistic. I`m still tweaking my P3d but with time, I`m sure l`ll have it running as smooth as my Fltsim 10. l just followed John`s adventure pack instructions, did some flight test in both fltsims, and its ready for takeoff. (I just wonder where he find the time to make all these packs), with all the changes he`s doing on the website, I`m sure other pilots will enjoyed them as much as l do. With all the time John putting in in improving, updating the website, creating all the adventure packs, the least l can do is join him in this flight, which is why he`s doing this, for us, all pilots. On behalf of all of us, a big thank you to you John.
