Hey Mike, The 'configurator' that comes with the Reality XP gauges - including the GPS, does a really good job of finding the installed aircraft to install the GPS into. I don't generally change the default panels of the aircraft - but keep the GPS as the pop-up window it installs to. These seem to work well even in my full-screen mode with 3 monitors using Nvidia Surround. The only change I make to the default install is the addition of the line "type=special" to the Reality entry in the panel folder. This keeps any of your pop-up gauges open when you change views so you don't have to keep re-opening them when you switch from one view to the other. I also found that on some models the Reality XP can cause the regular GPS to malfunction (stops showing the ETE times and miles) unless you leave the test screen up on the Reality XP. It's a minor issue with the work-around and I like having access to both GPS's, and perhaps it's just the way I configured them.
