VATSIM - Friday Night Ops: Operation Deep Freeze Jan 28, at KMSP

Come join our friendly and professional controlling staff as we staff Minneapolis to the gills on January 28th. From 6pm CST until we can't take it anymore, enjoy full staffing and operations at KMSP. Bring in IFR or VFR traffic - makes no difference to us! If bad weather is in the forecast, expect delays for de-icing and snow removal - hope you brought enough fuel!

As always in anticipation of a large event, we ask that pilots ensure that they have up-to-date scenery for KMSP, including runway 17/35. Our own AFCAD for FS2004 is available on our Scenery page . FS X users and those wishing to add accurate KMSP terminals and ramps can download William Morgan's FRF KMSP Scenery or install BluePrint Simulations' KMSP scenery .

Mike, do let me know when you want to try VATSIM again. I can be there for you.

Also, I would highly recommend flying the same route for the first few times just to get used to the terms especially the routes intersection. We the controllers love to send you direct to an ISEC without any headings.

Jeff, looks like our Teamspeak server is not running anymore. I use Squawkbox, have not really used FSInn. No preferences as far as which one.

Well, I only saw one SPA aircraft, I believe it was vandal. He was on the ground popping in and out.
