Hello.

vZTL is hosting VATUSA's Friday Night Ops Event on 4/16, featuring ATL and CLT.

Featuring: KATL, KCLT
2300-0300z

We would like to invite St. Paul Airlines to participate in this event, as we expect to be fully staffed.

Times are tentative at the moment, but are being finalized this week. A banner is being made as well to help advertise the event, and postings will go out in the VATSIM and VATUSA forums.

I have been tasked with the duty of coordinating this event, so if you would message me back I would appreciate it.

Regards,
Andrew Wolcott - I1

Thank you for posting this Naresh.

I will try to make this event. It's been along time since I flew VATSIM. Need to hit the books.

Please be advised that due to a possible controller shortage, vZTL may be solely focusing it's efforts on only one airport. I was expecting to have ZTL fully staffed, but we are having a very difficult time recruiting controllers for this event. I do sincerely apologize for any inconvience to you and your member pilots. While do we don't wish to abandon ATL, we are very limited on controllers who are certified to work ATL positions. Our controller availability improves a bit at one of our non-major airports. We are discussing which airport to choose and the toss up right is is between BHM and CLT.

I believe the controllers involved are in favor of BHM, and it appears BHM will have more traffic than CLT. But this is a very difficult thing to tell.

In the mean time, the time has been finalized for the event, and is 2300z-0300z (7PM Eastern U.S. Time - 11PM Eastern U.S. Time)

Please get the word out. Again I apologize if this causes any disruption in your organization's plans. We are striving to do the best job possible and I ask for your forgiveness if we fall short of your expectations. I myself never thought I'd see the day when vZTL didn't have enough staff available for an FNO event.

Thanks.
