Hi all,
Just wondering if any of you use the ifly 747. I'm trying to get iFly panel to work with some of my POSKY 747s at the moment. Most things seem to work quite well, I've managed to get all the XML controlled animations to work and i can set up the FMC and all seems to be well. However trim seems to be an issue. With a couple of clicks on the trim button it moves the trim setting to one extreme or the other (depending on which direction you first pressed) So for instance if i try trimming the aircraft up it will shoot up violently and even if i try reverse it, it will continue to shoot up and it is impossible to return it to centre.
The other thing which doesn't seem to work is VNAV. The moment i engage VNAV(or even just altitude hold) it sends the plane into a sharp nose dive. I have a feeling the two problems may be linked in some way. Anyone ever have any similar experience with this panel?
Could it be because i don't have a registered version of FSUIPC? I remember reading somewhere that not having a registered FSUIPC can have adverse effects on complex panels?
Any thoughts welcome,
Thanks

Actually, i found the soution on the POSKY site,
If anyone is interested in merging this panel with a posky 747 look here for instructions...

For people who don't want to slpash out on a PMDG 747 its a good (free) substitute and well worth merging with POSKY models as they are far superior to the iFly model.
