MSFS FlybyWire A320 Payload Issue and SPAACARS Econ-2018 Option

Pilots,

Recent changes made to the A32NX project by FlybyWire has rendered the payload data unreadable by our ACARS program.  I'm currently looking into this issue with both FlybyWire and FSUIPC developers to see if we might be able to again access this data for our ACARS program.  Until then, the A320 version by FlybyWire is not useable for our Econ-2018 flight options.  That's really unfortunate because the FlybyWire A320 is the most accurate A320 simulation for MSFS at this point.

The default A320 and other aircraft for MSFS still function correctly for our Econ-2018 flights - at least the few I've tested.  It's always good to do a few test flights with your desired simulator and aircraft before actually flying your "official" econ flight.

Should the matter be resolved, I'll update this post.

John

It appears that the developer of FSUIPC is now responding to the thread related to this issue on the FBW's forum.  This is promising because it means that between FSUIPC and FBW, they might be able to restore access to the missing payload data without my having to change SPAACARs code to pull that FBW data a different way just for that aircraft model - something I'm really not willing to do.

Here's the link to the thread related to the issue where I hope to continue monitoring it for a resolution by the FBW team and FSUIPC.
