Argh!  The more I dug into this simulator after Service Update 5, the more problems I discovered.  My favorite addon Flybywire's A320 would crash to desktop.  Even their own auto installer would not change this.  I finally found that their "development" version was functional, but not as good as the pre-SU5 version.  I found this informative article that also mentions the problems it has been causing Aerosoft.

Is your Fly By Wire A320 a payware addon?

Is Microsoft not supporting developers that are not approved by Microsoft?

John, did you delete the current Fly by one you have installed and the one in the marketplace.  Then load the latest version from the 3rd party web site? I'm reading that is fixing some of the issues.

I should have read the article first....:)

Hah, yes Bill, I've done all those things. I've been flying the plane lately - which wouldn't have been possible without doing those things. It appears that they might have now updated the "stable" version from the "development" version so that both may now work without CTD.

There still exists problems with altitude reading with real-world weather. That's a MSFS problem and not the addon mod. I only have the A32nx mod in the community folder and all others have been removed for now. This is likely only noted when using ATC because it will continually tell you you're at the wrong altitude even though you are at correct altitude and have barometer set correctly.

Also, the mouse-clicks for the knobs and switches don't appear to function consistently as described in the update information. Those are the remaining problems with the Mod that are most annoying for me at the time.
