FS2020 Fail was created by KC135
I have made a couple of short flight with 2020, the log says 3.5 hrs. I have had it to fail several times. I thought today I'll try again. Using the stock Beechcraft 36 single, no added scenery, after climbing to 5500 ft, it failed. Went back to desktop, after a sputtering engine sound. Back to X-Plane. Certainly 2020 is not dependable for me.

I tried a flight with the C208, it was so crummy 2020 flight, so bad I stopped it and filed manually.

That's too bad Ron. I found the Caravan a good plane in the new FS2020 except for the autopilot failing after using Active Pause. Avoiding that I flew the entire FL Sightseeing Charter without problems.

The real problem for me was the aircraft was losing airspeed during the later part of the flight. The engine was running but the throttle would not increase and it was going into a stall.. I don't use active pause, but I may have accidently bumped the key. I don't have much confidence in FS2020. The most reliable plane for me has been the DA62 .

Try turning on AI for a little while to see if that solves the problem. You can always turn it off after the problem is corrected.

Yes, that happened to me also. DO NOT USE ACTIVE PAUSE!

I tried to recover but all attempts failed. You will just end up in a crash no matter what you try.
