Pilots:
I think I discovered the problem - one of album ownership. I deleted all previously created albums that I had created for you. Now when you go to upload photos, you will be prompted to create your own album. Then you can select that album to put your pictures in. I believe that you will then have access to that album - including the group delete function I described in a previous thread.
For those wishing to download photos from their old album, please contact me by email and I'll provide a link to a zip file containing your latest photos from the old gallery.
Hopefully this fixes things and gives you all more efficient control over your pictures.
Let me know of questions or problems.

Works for me with exceptions. Your photo has to be less than 1 Meg.
My question now is what formats can we use? Can I use .PNG? Or, do we need to convert it t to .JPEG or something else?

Yes Robert, I did leave the default size limit as noted in the previous thread. I think both jpg and png files will be acceptable. I had a few pictures that were also too large for the new size limit.
While I could adjust the size requirement upwards, I believe the current limit is reasonable and larger files are not necessary for our purposes here at SPA. The larger size is rarely viewed, yet it slows loading time and cumulatively slows and increases backups unnecessarily.
Pilots who find this error when uploading should check the image size - actual pixel view, and you will likely find that it's larger than necessary. This can be resized in simple programs like Windows default Paint program or other photo programs that pilots are likely viewing them.
This won't be a problem for most pilots taking single screen prints of their flights unless they have wide-screen setups. In that case, a full-size screen print may require resizing after. Alternatively, they can use the Alt-PrtSc method with a resized simulator window the active program window on your desktop. This will screen-copy only the smaller resized simulator window and not the entire wide-screen. That image then pasted into your Paint or other photo program and saved as a jpg file should be of a size acceptable for uploading.
Pilots who have questions or problems resizing can email me for help.<br /><br /><!-- editby --><br /><br /><em>edited by: jer029, Sep 24, 2019 - 09:20 AM</em><!-- end editby -->

I figured this out by converting my photo to .JPG and cropping it to meet your requirements. I agree with the photo album size being limited per member. It would be good to know the remaining space available in our albums.

Robert,
You can see that under your profile. Also, pics can be jpg, gif and png.
