VATSIM Teamspeak

Ok Gents and new students here are the steps to getting into the Teamspeak server first download and install Teamspeak2 from <a href="www.goteamspeak.com/" target="_blank">here and install to your computer then starup the program and goto Connection, then Connect. After that there are two tabs, so goto the tab that says Web server list. Then goto change filter at the bottom. Then at the very bottom where it says Show servers starting with........ type in Vatsim. Then two servers will come up Vatsim AEE and Vatsim vZMP Teamspeak Server. Click on the second option and the password is KLNK all caps. Just when you first log in it will say your name in the room as Guest1 so you will have to tell us who you are if we see you in there without a name. If you go in there and no one is there, then check in later and see if anyone is on. Now a new sectorfile is out for ZMP called CTRv3.1, so go to www.minniecenter.org/module.php?page=afcadcycle" target="_blank">here and check it out.

Its' the client.

I checked it out and was actually able to make the connection. Of course, I was assigned the default ID of "Guest1", and I was the only one there except for one controller.

Now, my question is - what is this used for? Is it for private chats with the controllers?
